I spent many hours watching videos on YouTube by Chris Westfall and read The NEW Elevator Pitch by Chris Westfall, who is a national elevator pitch champion. While nobody will ask you for your elevator pitch, they'll ask you questions like "Tell me about yourself?", "What's your greatest accomplishment?", "What is your background so far?", "Can you introduce yourself quickly?", "Why should I hire you?" - for all these questions, the answer is modified version of your elevator pitch. That's why it's VERY important to have a great pitch.

These videos will get started,. The idea is for you to get an idea of what an elevator pitch is and how to go about writing yours. Once you have a feel for what your story is and what you want to communicate, writing it isn't a tough process because an elevator pitch is quite concise.
